Ole Miss senior Sofia Hellberg-Jonsen has been named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® women's track and field/cross country second team.

Isiah Young, who graduated from Ole Miss last month, captured a silver medal in the men's 200 meters at the USA Championships on Sunday to propel him to the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, Russia.

Not quite two weeks after his NCAA pole vault title in Eugene, Ore., Ole Miss sophomore Sam Kendricks was named one of 10 male semifinalists for The Bowerman on Monday.

Ole Miss senior track & field/cross country runner Katie Breathitt was recently honored as the Muscle Milk Female Athlete of the Year by the Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA).

Following their performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships last week in Eugene, Oregon, Ole Miss athletes earned a total of four All-America distinctions.

With stellar performances from Sam Kendricks and Isiah Young, the Ole Miss men's track & field team placed eighth at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships for its best finish in school history.
