McKenzie Long, a redshirt senior at Ole Miss, became the first female athlete in program history to win the 200-meter title in a wind-legal 22.39 seconds at the Southeastern Conference Championships at LSU's Bernie Moore Track and Field Stadium in Baton Rouge. Long also took third in the 100-meter dash final in 11.04 seconds, as well as contributing to a fourth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 43.43 seconds, in addition to a 12th-place effort in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:37.65.
