Ole Miss senior teammates Jalani Davis and Jasmine Mitchell secured the top two spots in the women's weight throw at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Davis became the third collegiate female athlete and ninth all-time in the world to surpass the 25-meter mark with a second-round effort of 82-3.75 (25.09m) to repeat as champion, giving the Rebels five consecutive women's weight throw crowns and seven of the past eight overall. Mitchell, who won SEC Indoor titles in 2021-22, had an opening-round performance of 77-10.25 (23.73m) to place second.
