Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan, a sophomore at Ole Miss, became the first male athlete to sweep both men's shot put and weight throw titles in the same year at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Robinson-O'Hagan prevailed in the shot put with a personal-best effort of 66-10.50 (20.38m) in the fifth round and triumphed in the weight throw with a 77-3.25 (23.55m) third-round performance, becoming the first Ole Miss male athlete to capture a conference crown in the event. The Rebels became the first program since South Carolina in 1996 to sweep the men's and women's shot put and weight throw championships in the same year.
